Rocky Mountain Sherpas Visit Mica Heli

Rocky Mountain Sherpas are an award winning ski film production company. Their last film, “The Fine Line,” took top honors at several major ski film festivals when it debuted in 2009. The company is now working on its part ski film, part environmental film “All.I.Can.” The two year project has seen the crew visit many extreme and remote locals. While that is a pretty standard description of most any ski film, the Rocky Mountain Sherpas have taken it to a new level. Luxury mountain resorts
In their quest to visit the biggest and most extreme terrain around, the Rocky Mountain Sherpas have announced a partnership with Mica Heli Guides. Mica Heli operates their small group tours on more than 72,000 hectares just north of Revelstoke, British Columbia. As part of their new partnership, the Sherpas will film parts of the new film on location at Mica. The crew will also be responsible for producing the DVD and TV show that Mica creates each year.
In truth it is no surprise that the Rocky Mountain Sherpas are going to be working with Mica. Since their creation in 2003, Mica has set the bar for top quality terrain and powder. They've become a favorite among professionals and enthusiasts alike. The terrain at Mica is incredibly varied, offering something for everyone. There is plenty of fun to be had on the glacier cruiser runs, and plenty of adrenaline to be had on their seemingly endless pillow lines. A few of their longer pillow lines are up to 1,500 meters long. Visitors also enjoy Mica for the unbelievable amounts of perfectly formed powder that drops by the ton every season. Go see for yourself what all the fuss is about, and book your once-in-a-lifetime heliskiing vacation now before they sell out.
