Summer Fun

Revelstoke, British Columbia is a great place to visit. Not only are the majestic Canadian Rockies available to enjoy in any number of ways, but there are also a ton of less active ways to experience the culture here. As well as museums and heritage sites, there is live music every night during these warm summer months in Grizzly Plaza. For those looking for something a little more spontaneous and varied, there are also Open Mic nights at the Last Drop every Wednesday evening. After a day spent exploring the wilderness, sit back and relax with a drink as anyone with an itch gets up and lets lose.

While you take in the best amateur acts Revelstoke has to offer, you can take the time to plan your perfect winter heli ski vacation. As with almost all of British Columbia, Revelstoke gets plenty of dry fluffy powder every winter. This makes for great skiing and snowboarding, especially in the back country. The best way to experience the back country is in a helicopter courtesy of Mica Heli Guides.

With a tenure that stretches across a mind-boggling 177,000 acres, there is no shortage of terrain at Mica. This means that when your tour is complete, you are guaranteed to gotten your fill of the sweet champagne powder and first tracks. This makes for a great opportunity to get to know the rest of Revelstoke, and the night life, including the open mic night, simply can't be missed. Cat ski

Even though Revelstoke is most famous for its winter activities, there are all kinds of things to do here during the summer. So take a break from the stress of the day-to-day grind, and come absorb the serenity of this mountain paradise. Or if you are already dreaming about the lines you'll carve on the seemingly endless vertical that exists on Mica's tenure, book a trip now, as many of their exclusively small-group tours are already taken. No matter when or why you come, stop by the open mic night and have a few laughs on Revelstoke.
